Saundra L. Halsey, 80, of Toledo, OH, died, Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Merit House.  Born September 30, 1937, in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of Lewis and Gladys (Shears) Gill.  A 1955 graduate of Bedford High School, she was employed by the Ottawa Lake Co-Op for 15 years.  Saundra was a member of Bridgepoint Church in Temperance.   Saundra was a real people person, keeping busy playing card games, crafts, and crossword puzzles.  In her younger years, she enjoyed camping and enjoyed the outdoors.

She is survived by her loving sons, Bill (Deb) Halsey and Michael Halsey; sister, Susan (Troy) Norton; grandchildren, Aaron (Kate) Halsey and Brandon (Jess) Halsey; great grandchildren, Andrew and Sarah.

Visitation will be from 3-8 pm, Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, October 5, 2017.  Interment will follow at Bedford Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Bridgepoint Church.
